Do you struggle to find time for yourself?
A while ago on Mother’s Day, I sponsored a mom as part of the organization SW Empower Families.
This event happens every year.
SW Empower Families organizes a special day at a restaurant to celebrate single mothers and mothers that have been in domestic violence situations.
Sponsors and moms meet, we share a meal, and we give them a small gift to celebrate with them.
This year, in addition to sponsoring a mom, I was asked to give a short motivational speech.
This video shows the speech I delivered.
The message I wanted to pass on was to ensure that all moms there remember to take care of themselves first. That they celebrate themselves not just once a year on Mother’s Day but every day of the year.
Check it out and see if there is something that resonates with you!
Then, share with me in the comments, do you struggle to find time for yourself?
Do you take 15-30 minutes a day just for you?
What do you need to put in place to be able to have 30 minutes just for you?
